Optical Metrology

Ultrastable for All

Quantum metrology is an art of measuring physical variables using phenomena from quantum science. Specifically, we are interested in understanding the interplay between measurement sensitivity and quantum resource stored in many-body systems. We are investigating the utilization of conformal quantum states with diverging entanglement length for metrological advantage.

As a technical "badass," we are continuously developing novel methods for laser stabilization and optical frequency standards. Our recent effort has been focused on optically active frequency standards, built from room-temperature molecular optical clocks. Such platforms can be utilized for a wide range of applications in defence and security, as well as for the internal basic science research at Q-Block Computing.
