Q-Block is a Canadian quantum research and engineering company that turns frontier science into deployable technology. The company designs and manufactures quantum systems for precision timing, networking and computation — AllanQ, LuciaQ and PolarisQ platforms — with applications in defence, security and critical infrastructure.

The acquisition of the Ottawa facility at 20 Colonnade Road is a tangible investment in the people, infrastructure and expertise needed to grow these capabilities. The headquarters will support the recruitment of leading scientists and engineers, expanded research and engineering programs, and the development of next-generation quantum technologies, complementing Q-Block’s manufacturing operations in Alberta.
